Regulatory information

MiFID – the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive – came into effect on 1 November 2007, replacing the Investment Services Directive (ISD).
Amendments to French Financial and Monetary Code to transpose to its provisions were made by the Ordinance of 12 April 2007.
MiFID extends the coverage of the ISD and introduces new and more extensive requirements that firms have to adapt to, in particular for their conduct of business and internal organisation.  MiFID also sets out more detailed requirements governing how regulated markets and multilateral trading facilities (MTFs) operate.

MiFID is intended to create a more open, competitive, and transparent market for financial services across the European Union. It concerns financial instruments and harmonises regulatory requirements in terms of:

• Best execution
• Client categorisation
• Investor protection
• Investment research
• Conflicts of interest
• Outsourcing
• Pre- and post-trade transparency
• Transaction reporting

With regards to MiFID requirements, UFG-LFP provides its client upon request from the international sales team of UFG-LFP (international@nullufg-lfp.com):

• Conflicts of Interest policy
• Exercise of voting rights policy and annual reports
• Best selection policy

As a result of the MIFID regulations, financial promotions and performance reports available on this website are exclusively directed to professional clients.
